High-speed rail ticket pickup is now optional for passport travelers

I booked through the official railway app using my passport. At Hongqiao, I went straight to the manual passport lane with no paper ticket.

The staff scanned the passport, checked the train number, and let me through. Build in time for a queue, but do not automatically line up at the ticket window unless your booking app tells you to collect something.
